Good Cable, Hard To Grab

This is a good charging cable. I use it in the car to plug into CarPlay. The 90 degree bend works exactly how I want it to keeping the cable away from lots of bending if I put the phone down in the cup holder on top of it.
BUT it’s so low-profile and out of the way that it’s difficult/annoying to remove from the phone! The iPhone holds onto the cable rather firmly. I have a Spigen phone case that isn’t bulky. My other cheaper 90 deg cables have a round cylinder shape that makes it easier to pull out even with a case on (pull against the round shape). The Anker cable 90 deg plug portion has a slim rectangular profile, so there’s nowhere good to be grabbing it, even with the textured sides.
Maybe I have weak little hands? I don’t think so. It doesn’t take away from the quality/capability/durability of the cable, which is what I bought it for. But it’s a minor annoyance that could be improved on a future design.

I got this for use on a DJi OSMO 2 Cell Phone Camera Gimbal to make use of the on board phone charging. The phone must be as close to the bottom as possible in order to achieve a neutral balance. This cord is the only one that adds 10mm or less to the phones length (placement) and so leaves it in range of the gimbal to still balance properly. I recommend it. And I’ll buy it again as I have need for these tight tolerance that also can handle the bends and movements of the gimbal. Thank for making a product that actually meets a real need.

Great product especially with the 90 degree plug. Our 10 ft lightning cable stopped working due to the bending issue so this has been a needed purchase. I just wish it came with a 6 ft version at least.

But other than that, happy with the purchase. No heat issue so far. Charge speed is fairly normal, not too slow not super fast. Cable feels sturdy and nice quality.

CAUTION: may not work with every case due to the angle and size. My case is the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Silicone Case and it fits well. It also fits the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Silicone Case.

Would have given this highest marks, except after only 8 months no more signal and it stopped working. Disappointed because it was recommended and the brand is very good for various items like chargers. Plus the design leads you to believe it will be more sturdy, secure, and last. Key aspect is there was little movement when connected to my iPad. Might take a shot with another one since other brands can be worse. Beyond the return period unfortunately.

I've used ANKER products for several years now and never been disappointed. My charging cable that came with the phone has cracked insulation and also cracked around the housing that plugs into the phone. Since I usually am holding it against my body when using, I was looking for a right-angle plug style. These fit the bill. At 36" long, it's only about 4" shorter than the OEM that came with my I-phone. The cable is a bit thicker and, as it is brand new, not as flexible as the old one, so that makes it seem that it's shorter. That may work out over time.
