This is my second time buying this charger, the first was 5 years ago and that one is still functioning, though the base of the phone part is frayed. That charger lasted me until now and I know the new one I bought to replace it will last equally as long if not longer. I also have a power brick from Anker and they just charge my phone so fast it's unreal (I will plug in my dead phone like 20 min before I need to leave the house and it will have enough power that I can confidently leave with a charged phone). ALSO, the 6 ft length is SO nice and convenient. AND the charger has a built-in cord wrap to keep it all organized which is a new addition but now I cant go back to a regular charger. Buy this for everyone you know.

I’ve had this charger since 2021 and it’s my favorite one. It worked well on my iPhone10xsMax even though it’s a faster charger then that phone needs. I now have an iPhone 14 max and it is still my go-to charger. It’s extremely durable too. It’s still looks new.

The only reason I am not giving it 5 complete stars is that it has recently gotten a little glitchy and not charging when I plug it in. I’ve had to unplug and replug a couple of times even though I checked the outlets and it’s matching 511 charger to make sure everything was plugged in. I’ll update this review if that’s the case.

Even if it is the cord, I have used it non-stop since it’s purchase and am really happy with the product.

Like all cords, everything eventually fails, but these seem to hold up well enough. Nothing is made to last forever anymore. But these are good quality cables and can last for about a year or more if you don't Travel as often as I do. I travel about 5 days a week for work, so if you're more stationary the cables will last a lot longer. Just make sure you're unplugging from the base of the cable and not yanking it out from the cable itself. The cable has a nice coating matte material on the cord, which adds to the sturdiness. This is my second purchase, I leave one home and keep the other in my travel bag. Anker makes great products for the price, so you get what you pay for. I've tried the off brands massed produce from China or wherever Amazon sellers are getting these cables and those don't last but a few months, if that, before buying another cord and spending more money than if I had just purchased this one cable to get my (at least) year worth of use. So these Anker cables are still working. Hope this helps.

I have 3 girls and it is absolutely ridiculous the amount of charging cables I have purchased. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s over 100. I have tried the cheaper ones (several brands) but, these are the cords that I will purchase from now on. They are extremely durable, flexible, and truly charge lightening fast. They may be slightly more expensive but worth every extra penny. We love the colors and the way they feel as well. We seem to have really good luck with all Anker products!

Overall, this product does what it's supposed to: charges devices reliably and quickly. I like the texture of this cable vs. the braided ones and it rolls up easily without changing/losing shape. I don't use my cables hard like some people so I've never had any issues with fraying or breaking. Purchased a second cable with a different plug type for other devices.

Admittedly, this may not last as long vs. some of the braided cables. However, I use them very carefully and wrap them back up after every use. If you're not hard on cables, I'm sure this will work great for you. Overall, I'm pleased.

This was a wonderful cable for the time it worked, and I purchased this cable August 21st 2021 and as of January 5th 2023 the cable is practically useless. This was a great cable for the year and a half I had it, as it was a smooth cable with good length, and the amazing feature of no tangles advertised worked as well as you could hope for. The only issue is the cable after about a year started to lose charge at very specific random positions that I could not recreate, which was not that big of a deal because it would still charge through the night without fail. As time went on though more often would it lose charge randomly when I moved slightly, and it continued to get worse up until now where there aren't any practical positions I can find where it will charge. I've cleaned the port inside my iPhone 13 Pro Max as after lots of use in sweatpants where lint can build up could result in improper connection, but to no avail as it still does not charge. I will still be buying another one of these cables as the charging speed, no tangles, length, and overall quality want me using no other cable, but the longevity might be a factor that might deter others buyers away, so be mindful of this.

So I went looking for Anker, and it does not disappoint- Beautiful color, soft sturdy cord, with a cord wrap included- Now I can easily charge my iPad and read in bed at same time- Charging power is excellent and ease to use iPad has increased! I bought this cord to go with Anker plug- A win-win!!!!!

No doubt a very fast charging lead, and i love the colours. However the lightning end’s metal housing is the issue, as it does not squeeze inside a case like the previous silicone end of other anker cables (see picture). With my case on, it’s a very loose connection and therefore the lead will unplug far too easily, stop charging. Given that everyone uses a case on their phone, this seems like a massive oversight on Anker’s part.
It’s a choice between a case, or charging your phone...

Usual Anker quality - strong, great connections and sturdy. I bought this as it was brand new to market in jan 2021 abs the idea of a soft and flexible cable sounded nice for my minimalist desk.

It arrives in a standard box with minimal packaging which is good for sustainability - just a cardboard box.

Usually anker cables have a Velcro strap, this time it’s a plastic silicone strap, first time I’ve seen this. It’s nice quality and feels sturdy, but to be honest, not as adjustable! I understand it’s meant to fit the “soft touch” appeal though. But it’s only got 3 notches to adjust so, can’t adjust the tightness of the strap too much.

The flexibility is great,and it really is a soft feel, very luxurious. Feels really strong too and no problems connected to the iPhone 11 Pro Max or anker charger. Overall very happy with the quality.

You could get cheaper - but this charges at full rate if you have a PD wall charger and it also feels and looks great.
You pay for the looks and quality. So it’s good to have on a desk always on display - which is what I have it for !

Grundsätzlich von Haptik, Handling und Ladeleistung her ein sehr gutes Kabel, aber die kupferfarbene Buchse (zwischen Stecker und lightning Pin) ist minimal größer (höher), als beim Apple Original-Ladekabel und passt ziemlich genau nicht „vernünftig“ durch die Ladeöffnung meiner Hülle, weshalb man meint, dass das Kabel „sitzt“, was es dann aber nicht tut…
Da das Originalkabel exakt passt, frage ich mich, was die MFI Zertifizierung eigentlich beinhaltet? Ich bin fest davon ausgegangen, dass unter anderem auch die exakten Maße der Stecker vorgeschrieben sind, aber dem scheint ja offensichtlich nicht so zu sein?!
Wie auch immer ist die Buchse lediglich kupferfarben und nicht aus Metall, sondern nur aus „bemaltem“ Kunststoff und ich habe kurz drübergefeilt (wobei die kupferfarbene Farbe abgeht…) und nun passt es.
Bei dem durchaus „sportlichen“ Preis finde ich das ausgesprochen ärgerlich, zumal durch die „Manipulation“ des Steckers mit Sicherheit die Garantie erloschen ist und vor genau diesem Hintergrund sind eigentlich auch zwei Sterne noch zu viel…

I upgraded to this longer, good-looking cable thinking I’d get fast charge and this could be the only charging cable I need for my new phone.
1. The lightning end connection is loose and doesn’t stay in.
2. I needed to hold it in place to make sure it started charging. Even then, I’ll come back to it and it’s plugged in but no longer charging.
- this actually happened on my first overnight charge. I woke 8 hours later to find that it had charged to 30%.
It was still plugged in (obviously, at the mains and into the phone.)
A very expensive charging cable that doesn’t do its main function.
It’s day 2 and I’m sending it back.
