Travel Case for Anker 737 Powerbank & Accessories
Hounyoln Direct
Product Description

1. Why is "Screen Time", "Battery Cycle", "Total Input", and "Total Output" not showing "0" on the display?
To ensure the quality of the product, rigorous tests were conducted. The values recorded during the production and testing process were:
(a) "Battery Cycle" should be 0 and "Battery Health" should be 100%.
(b) Other information should not be 0.
2. Why does the battery drain so quickly?
When the Settings selection screen is always on, both the screen and MCU are working, so it is normal that the battery drains quickly. It uses 15% of the battery in about 24 hours. We recommend turning off the display screen when not in use.
3. Why can't the power reach 140W?
To reach 140W, you need to use a cable that supports PD 3.1 and a device that supports PD 3.1 input such as the 2021 MacBook Pro 16".
4. Why does USB-A port show 0.1W output when the power bank is not connected to any device?
1. Even if the device is unplugged when charging with USB-A, it will continue to output a small current to prevent the device from being fully charged, and it will last for about 2 minutes.
2. In trickle-charging mode, the output of USB-A is 0.1W.
5. Is the power bank allowed on flights?
Yes, it is flight-approved and allowed on a plane.

The display is fantastic and really provides all the information you need in order to know what is going on with the inputs and outputs.
My main use will be for charging the 50wh battery in my Surface Pro 8. The Anker 737 will charge it at a 55w rate via either of the two Thunderbolt ports (the supplied Microsoft charger is rated at 60w through the Surface connector), and it appears that the conversion efficiency is about 80%, meaning that it can fully charge the Surface and have capacity left over to charge a phone or two.
(An interesting note about conversion efficiency based on some quick tests and calculations: If I charge my Surface Pro 8 from my Jackery 300’s PD port, it takes about 60wh to fully charge the 50wh battery. It appears that the Anker 737 will need to supply almost 70wh to fully charge the 50wh battery. If I connect the Microsoft AC adapter to the Jackery 300’s AC port and charge the Surface that way, it requires about 90wh to fully charge the 50wh battery. The more up and down conversions you do, the more you lose.)
The supplied cord is rated for 140w and is 60cm long (NOT 6 cm as some have said), or about two feet.
I had limited success with pass-through charging, YMMV. I connected a 45w charger and the Anker started charging at 42w. Then I connected a phone, which started charging at 10w, but the input to the Anker then dropped to an identical 10w. A different charger and a different load might give different results, I don't know.
Others have complained about having difficulty charging DJI batteries. Here's what I think is going on (my best guess, anyway): I have the Mini 2 battery charging hub and three batteries. The hub appears to be happiest with an input of 12v, 1.5a. (The supplied DJI charger is rated at 9v, 2a and 12v, 1.5a.) USB-C PD 3.1 does not appear to support 12v, and when connected to the hub, the hub and the Anker can't seem to negotiate an 18w charging rate at 9v. HOWEVER, when I connect the hub to the Anker's USB-A port using the supplied DJI cable all is well and the hub charges at 18w.
Some users have panicked over the USB-A port showing 0.1a with no load connected. Anker explains this on their support page (which takes some digging to find). 1. Make sure Trickle Charge mode is off (tap the button twice). 2. Wait two minutes after disconnecting a load from the USB-A port. 3. Relax.
Some users have experienced less than expected charging rates. Not all USB cables are created equal. (In fact, back in the early days of USB-C there were some cables that didn’t meet the standard and were risky to use.) Make sure your cable supports the rate your device requires. I bought a six foot, 140w Anker cable to go along with the 737. That, plus the cable supplied with the 737, should meet all my needs.

It does come with a short 140 Watt USB C Cable to charge the power bank but it does NOT come with a wall charger to power it.
Pros
- Recharges quickly with a 100 Watt or higher charger(sold separately)
- Recharges laptops at full speed and can trickle charge two high-end laptops
- Smart display indicates tons of useful information such as battery percentage and wattage charging
- Small enough to fit into a backpack
Cons
- Expensive($149.99)
- Doesn't come with a wall charger
- Occasionally has issues charging 2017 iPad Pro
Overall, if you have a high-end USB-C laptop such as the 16-inch MacBook Pro, this is the best choice to go for in the sub-$200 range. Your laptop will thank you later
Top reviews from other countries

I should have read the comments before my purchase as there is a known issue with this product.
The 737 comes up with a UVP Under Voltage Protection error and it seems this is caused because the 737 does not fully support 12 Volt devices in Power Delivery mode (USB-C uses a range of voltages to keep the current down).
I did contact their support but all I got was an automated reply and as they know of the issue I would have thought their robot AI would have handled my query better.
Via the USB-A the DJI Mini 3 Pro Two-way Charging Hub charges at a very slow speed even for USB-A.
I did do a battery capacity test of the 737 and on a USB-A load of 2 amps at 5 Volts I got 73.625 Watt Hours.
Not fit for purpose so I guess if no fix is on the horizon (which I doubt) it will have to be returned.
EDIT: 21/11/22
Got am email from their customer support which confirms the issue.
Please know that our engineers have done a lot of tests on the DJI Mini 3 Pro before. And Here are our findings.
1. DJI's Charging hub states that it supports power input 5V==3A, 9V==3A, and 12V==3A, but our power bank cannot support 12V==3A. So the DJI charging hub will negotiate the power input with our power bank's C port at 9V.
2. But when we connect the DJI charging hub to our power bank, we find that the hub only asks for 9V==2A at the first, so our power bank only gives 9V==2A. That's why you will find the real output hovers around 18W. But sometimes the hub doesn't comply with the agreement, he asked for 9V=2A first but then compulsively drew 3A from our device, thus the voltage our device can finally give will be lower than 9V (because the total needs our power bank received at the very first is 9V/2A=18W, if 3A is drawn, then theoretically the final voltage will be 18W/3A=6V). Therefore, the UVP Low voltage warning will appear.
3. We also test the charging hub with some of our 9V/3A chargers (who also do not support 12V), and the testing results are also the same. So it seems that the charging hub's charging ability at 9V=3A has some unknown problems. Regarding this point, maybe you can also try some 9V/3A chargers (that do not support 12V) to see whether you can get the same results as ours, or you can also have a further discussion with DJ later.
4. We find that the charging hub's charging ability at 12V performs well. When it is charged with a 12V charger or power bank, there will be no charging issues. Therefore, our engineer will improve our power bank and add the charging ability at 12V in the near future, which should help to be better compatible with the DJI Mini 3 Pro.
5. This problem does not happen to the USB A port.
Considering the above situation, if the device cannot meet your needs and you want a return and refund, we can respect your choice.

- It can charge my Macbook Air 2021 to from 0 to 100% in about 65% of capacity so probably higher than advertised 1.2 laptop charges, more like 1.4 on these M1 Macs.
- You could probably do a week of charging for a normal Smartphone off one 100% battery charge.
- I have a Steamdeck and it's able to give me about 4.5 hours playtime depending on what I'm running.
- It "rapid charges" every device I've tried - Macbook, OnePlus 7 Pro, iPhone 13, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Steamdeck.
- The little screen on it seems like a gimmick but has proved to be very useful and unobtrusive. It's useful to see how much battery is left, what rate devices are charging at etc. Really useful.
- It's noticeably heavy in the hand so I was a bit worried about travelling, but in a backpack I have to say I barely notice it and it's been more useful than carrying around some of my other packs because it rapid charges and I don't have to leave my smartphone in my bag so it can trickle charge for hours.
- Build quality is A++ - it's a really nice finish, well built, looks nice if you actually care what your battery pack looks like!
- Comes with a short USB-C - USB-C charging cable (about 6" long) and a little cotton carry bag. I would personally get some high capacity, longer charging cables. I bought some rated for 100W which it can deliver although highest I've managed to find is a 40W draw off the Mac.
A few things to note before buying:
- There's no charger boxed in so you will need a 40w USB-C charger to charge it at highest rate - most modern smartphones or laptops will have one rated that high. It will not charge off low power USB-C connections, e.g. the hub in my Dell Monitor (which my MacBook Air will charge off), so you may want to factor this into your purchase.
- It is a more expensive device relative to others but I think if you travel a lot and you need the capacity this is an excellent device. They have not skimped on the quality and it is now part of my daily carry.
- The quoted "120W" charging is an aggregate of all 3 ports (1xUSB-3.1, 2xUSB-C) at full rate. So for example you could charge a laptop, a smartphone and a camera all at once, all at full power (I think. I can't say I've ever tried to do this!). You can't plug a kettle into it ;)
Thanks.

Passt wunderbar.

Talked with their support that I needed a replacement as soon as possible and got back saying they would send a new one before receiving the defective one. When I asked the expected delivery date they then said it would be one week after they received it. Very poor customer service for an very expensive powerbank. Had to buy another one from another brand and returning this to Amazon

I have had Anker chargers for about 10 years and the original one is still going strong. It’s usb a though so a bit dates and the majority of my equipment (notebook, iPad, phone and steamdeck being the major ones) are usb c so it was time for an update and I wanted something that would be future proof.
This power bank fits that requirement as it supports 140W charging.
The trickle charging feature is very useful for charging my watch, mouse and headphones as most power banks switch off before they are fully charged. I have previously had to also carry a small poundland power bank which has a permanent 5V output to charge these devices but that is no longer required.
Not mentioned on the listing or their website is that this power bank supports PPS up to the full 4A. So if you have the Samsung ultra phone then it can charge at the maximum 45W.
It also supports pass through charging. So you can charge the power bank at the same time as having it provide power. Very handy if you have a powerful charger which might only have a single output. It also means you can power a notebook which might require 65W for example but are only able to use a car USB adapter which can supply 40W. The power bank will pass the power through and top it up from the internal batteries which will extend the runtime considerably.
