I did buy 2 apple certified chargers and the ones that did work, broke after months or just stopped working. Also bought one for my iPad and it would go in and out like it didn’t recognizes device. This was is amazing. It charges my phone super fast. Don’t skimp on the after market. If I look back on how many I had bought. I must say I spent more money on the apple certified not apple charger itself. Definitely don’t skimp/ the apple charger is well worth it and yes the shorter ones do charge faster but even if you buy their longer one, it will
Woke but have noticed the shorter ones do charger quicker. The longer are great to/ especially when needed for more range and you need the length, just take a little longer. I won’t buy anymore after market/ unless need more rugged, some do work just take longer to charge but the ones that look like this do not work even though they say apple certified. Your device will keep dinging and goes in and out of charge. Stick

iPhone 14 charger

I traded in my phone for the new iPhone 14 the other day. When I got home I realized that the phone only came with the charging cable but did not include the wall power adapter. Although slightly frustrating, I still had my iPhone 11 power adapter so I didn't think much of it. As it turns out, Apple has decided to change a feature again so that older model accessories can't be used with the new phones. My iPhone 11 wall adapter has the USB port for the charging cable, while the new iPhone 14 has a USB-C port for the charging cable. Fine, I will just use my old charging cable & power adapter to charge the new phone. Then I noticed that the charge was quite slow; What would only take my iPhone 11 maybe 15 minutes to charge was taking the new iPhone 14 twice as long. I decided I needed to get the USB-C power adapter so that I could use the new charging cable that came with the phone to charge it. The adapter arrived the next day and it is charging my new phone much faster. Using the new cable that came with the phone and this new power adapter, a full charge takes under 20 mins if I'm not using the phone while it's charging. Happy with my purchase, although I'm annoyed at Apple for changing features to make it impossible to use old accessories. They claim they don't provide the power adapter in an attempt to reduce waste, but they've just created more waste because my old adapter has no function now.

TL;DR
Wall power adapter with the USB-C charging port. Works with my iPhone 14 and charges phone quickly. Happy with my purchase.
