This is arguably the best DAC you can get for the money, if you have headphones that are easy enough to drive these will be perfect for your setup. If you need a USB C connector, get that one but i wanted to be able to use some of my over ear headphones with my phone allowing me to be more portable than my standard desktop DAC setup. No, you cannot get deafeaningly loud with harder to drive headphones but i dont typically listen that loud anyways. Highly recommend for the couple of bucks to get good audio on the go.Only downside i would see is the possible lack of longevity due to my previous experience with apple cables not always lasting forever but as long as it lasts a couple of years that meets my needs.
