I have this and the 65 watt version and mainly use it to charge my 2021 MacBook Pro 16 while on the road if fast charging isn't required. 30 watts works to charge the MacBook Pro 16 but it takes quite a while but that's fine if I'm stationary with an outlet. I can also charge my iPhone and watch off the MacBook Pro 16. This mode works if I use the laptop off the battery during the day and charge it overnight.
This device is small and light and it fits if your outlets are side-by-side instead of vertical and it only takes one space on a power strip. The 65 watt version is a bit of a chungus - it's a lot smaller and lighter than the Apple-supplied power brick but it doesn't always fit with some outlet setups. I take the 65 watt version if I'm on a trip where I will need faster charging.
The only drawback of this model is that the prongs don't fold in. I think that Anker has an updated version where the prongs fold in and I'd get that one if I had to buy it today. I also have the Anker 40 watt 2-port and it's previous gen tech and 20 watts isn't enough to charge the MacBook Pro unless it is sleeping. But the charger itself is big.

Update::::::::::::Update::::::Just came back from my first business trip with the adapter. Both this one and the new 65 watt one wouldn't maintain a connection in the airplane plug on a 777.I have had issues with anker adapters before, with their four port usb adapter etc on a train.The apple adapter 5 watt one fits significantly more snug, and doesn't slip out at all, so its not just that the outlets were defective. It is a bad design that doesn't grab on to loose sockets well.The only way to use the adapter was to plug in a 3 way power tap that fit snugly and then I could plug it in. If I had known this ahead of time, I wouldn't have purchased this adapter.:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Udate: I have the original atom, and the the power port 5 port with pd.Both of those work fine when I plug it into the main power usb c port (the left one with the lightning bolt icon) and also works on the right side usb c port.This nano only works on the right usb c port, but the left usb c port, when you plug it in, the computer gives you the sound of adding a usb device and then doesn't charge.This seems like the chip is negotiation a different way than previous chargers and seems to make it less compatible. While it doesn't make it useless, I would rather have a charger that works on all ports and their new chargers are not.::::::::::::::::::::::::::::If you already have an atom pd 1 it’s probably not worth the upgrade.It looks a bit nicer and it is smaller but to spend another $30 if you already have it doesn’t make sense.If you do need a second charger and figure you might as well get the latest one, or if you don’t have one of the small Valium chargers for charging a laptop on the go for work etc, then yes it’s decent.
