I went online and watched several YouTube videos about how to use this product. Some tips I gathered as a first-time user were: (1) wash and tone your skin before shaving but let your skin dry fully before shaving (2) Hold the dermaplaner at a 45-degree angle (3) don't try to cover a large amount of space at a time, short strokes, gently moving down the face (4) carefully wipe off the dermaplaner periodically (5) don't apply moisturizer or makeup after finishing, instead gently rinse and allow to air dry (6) wait at least 24-hours before applying make-up. Some videos said these are single-use, citing the need to protect against bacteria. I clean mine before and after use with Isopropyl alcohol and get 3 uses out of each. These are light, comfortable in my hand, and I can easily use it in my right hand or left hand. I'll definitely continue to use this product.

If you don't want to invest a lot of money in a fancy dermaplaning tool (especially if just trying it out), this is perfect! Blade is decently sharp (watch out!) and stays that way for quite a while. I'm a repeat purchaser! I also use it on my eyebrows when I'm in a rush and don't want to pluck, but eyebrow hair will grow back much faster that way so look out for that.

So I have dealt with peach fuzz on my face and neck my entire life and have endured wax, trimmers, razors, strips, you name it! I hated it all until I tried these dermaplaning tools! I make sure my face is completely clean and then I pour some rubbing alcohol over the blade and let it air dry. Then I go down in diagonal strokes, being careful to avoid nicking my ear lobes and nostrils. It takes off all hair and a good amount of dry skin! Then I wash my face and moisturize and my skin feels so smooth! If I pour some more rubbing alcohol over the blade and let it dry before sliding on the cap, I can get about 2-3 uses out of each stick. And no, my hair does not grow back thicker or darker. I will probably use these the rest of my life.
