I don't love this controller, but I don't hate it, either. It works fairly well (though I did have some issues connecting it to a computer) but it has connected fine to my Mac Mini to play some N64 games. Worked OK with the Switch, as well, obviously. I like that they have a proper thumb stick for the c-stick, but both sticks feel cheap and plasticky, so they're definitely not my favorite. I do like the long USB cord. Eliminates any bluetooth lag issues.

Overall, decent controller, but if you want something that feels premium, you should consider other options. For the price, though, this is about what you'd expect.

The buttons and sticks on the controller were surprisingly good qualityfor a third party.

However, I could not actually test it while gaming. I couldn’t find drivers for windows 10 so it didn’t work on the gaming emulators Dolphin or Slippi which are my main ways of accessing my games.

I wanted to replay some old GameCube games via emulator, but always found the controllers to never feel quite right. This at least feels more like a GC controller compared to anything else I’ve used.

The controller itself feels a bit different than an original controller, and I can’t quite pinpoint why. It’s dimensions are nearly identical, save the C stick. Having the larger C stick compared to the original is actually a nice feature.

One issue I had was it not detecting on my Windows PC at first. I’m not sure if it was a connection issue or a driver issue, but I had to unplug and replug it in a couple times to get Dolphin to recognize it. Once it did, I was able to set the buttons accordingly, and it seems to work fine now. If there was any LED or indicator lights on this controller at all, I could have found what the issue was faster.

Other than the lack of visual feedback, it hasn’t run into any issues. If you need a GC controller for PC, this seems to work well (I haven’t tried it in Switch).

I got this controller to used to play smash bros on switch and it feels exactly how a GameCube controller felt. I’m much more used to the layout and it helps me play a lot better! It also works great on a computer to play old GameCube games!

My one complaint is that the wire is pretty sort and it has to be plugged into the switch so if you have lost your docking stand or are already using the USB on the stand to charge a different remote it can get annoying having to plug it in, but it is a wired controller so that’s expected.

I got this to play SSBU on my Switch (OLED version) and this doesn't seem to work. I plugged it into the dock, both ports, and it didn't registered at all. I thought maybe the kids dropped and broke it before I could try it out, so I tried it on my computer. One quick settings change in Steam and it started working.

I played a couple games with it, was mostly fine. I noticed that the L & R sometimes stop registering when hold one of them and pressing another button at the same time, like L + A. I think it may be the L & R are significantly recessed so it is difficult to keep it pressed all the way, I'll need to do more testing to know for sure. I have games that won't require that sort of input that I can use it on, but I wanted it to play Smash on the Switch like I used to do with Melee on the GC so I am disappointed.
