They start out stretchy but by the end of the day are hanging loose. Once washed they regain some elasticity but lose it again over the course of the day.

For me they stay fitted all day. Regular leg length prevents chaffing on the upper thighs. Guess it depends on if you have large thighs or not. I do physical labor outdoors in the summer heat so for me the best part was the chafing relief without use of power or anything! They don’t ride up and they’re comfy for me all day.
