Answer:
It’s just like buying skincare/cosmetics from a place like Sephora over Walgreens… the experience is half the joy, plus you don’t end up blindly buying 825 knock-offs that may or may not perform the way you want or need them to. I purchased an Apple Pencil 2nd gen for myself and a $25 knock-off for my 6yo son (whom we gifted an iPad Air to for his birthday). The annoyance of having to plug that thing in or remind him to stuff it back in the slot on his iPad case is a hassle. Moral of the story: my son asks me to draw on my iPad MINI using my Apple Pencil vs drawing on his iPad AIR using some cheap knock-off due to the inconvenience. Yes, you can write with it, but only on the new iPad pro that just released. It will not work with any other Apple device. Buy from Amazon seller Acebeach for same day shipping.

Answer:
No; The Apple Pencil is a digital stylus pen that works as an input device for the iPad Pro and the 2018 iPad, both tablet computers. The second-generation Pencil, however, charges magnetically to the side of the iPad Pro. Once attached, it pairs with the device after an on-screen prompt. It also features gesture controls.

Answer:
Yes! This Apple Pencil (2nd generation) is made specifically for the 11” iPad-Pro and 12.9” iPad-Pro (3rd generation) as it attaches magnetically to the side of the iPad for char bing and pairing!

Answer:
The 2nd generation pencil only works on the New 2018 iPad. The new iPad has the recharging strip at the top. Previous models do not have the recharging feature on the top of the iPad that’s why the 2nd generation pencil does not work on older iPads.
