I’m not really sure if the red bleeds when washed , but i did see other reviews before i ordered mine that said some off the color bleeds through . i purchased the beige one
I can only answer about how my grandson wears it. He wears it everyday to school. I have washed. it. It holds up well. So this would depend on how often you will be wearing it. But it is a good product in my opinion. I have only had it for a while. Hopes this helps.
I’m 5’7 130 lbs. and because I have breathing problems, I like a kinda loose fit. It’s 100% cotton so I knew it would shrink a little. I got the XL and after one washing it fits nice.
