Overall it’s a sturdy case and I think it will work fine protection-wise, however I took two stars off for:Color - Based on the photos the case looks as though it’s two shades of purple. It is not. The lighter purple in the photos is actually light reflecting off the shiny parts of the case. I was really excited for a case with two shades, so very disappointed when it arrived.Seal - As you can see in the picture the two parts of the case don’t close completely. This is due to the bottom part not fitting properly, so the case sticks up a bit…and yes I’ve tried to push it down as much as possible. It’s a tight fit, so I’m not worried about the AirPods case coming out, but the fact it doesn’t fit perfectly bothers me. That said, the lid part fits perfectly and I didn’t have any issues adhering it to my case.I wouldn’t buy this product again or recommend it to others. I’m sure there is something else out there for $18 that is as described. For the price I expected it to at least fit properly.
