I prefer apples that are very crisp, sweet with a hint of tartness. These fit the bill perfectly. They are also a nice size to pack in a lunch bag.

Weird apples. Got either a bad bag of them or they're just not for me.

The envy apples I received were not quite what I expected from reading the other reviews. Of course, produce can vary wildly depending on how the grocer handles them and how long they keep them on the shelf. So, that could have been a factor. I almost wonder if they had been frozen, as the texture was just so different than a normal apple.

I would not describe them as crisp. Crunchy? Yes. They were hard, crunched when biting off the apple, but had a strange mealy texture when chewing in my mouth. The flavor was closest to a red delicious, in my opinion. Sweet and very little tartness at all. They were also a bit dryer than I am used to with apples. Not completely juiceless, but dryer than average.

Just about the weirdest apples I've ever had. Not bad enough to throw out, but not excited to get back to finishing the bag off. Not sure if I will give them another shot. Maybe they're just not for me.

These are the best apples. But when I cut it open they were brown and spotted on the inside while still firm on the outside. It was not just one or two. It was the entire bag just about. So please don’t just give them to you young one without looking first.
