I keep searching for men's briefs that are not made of super thin cotton. I was disappointed that these do not seems to be any better than cheap brands. If someone knows of a better choice please share. Will not buy again. Actually, I don't even wear these.
I have since purchased Fruit of the "Loom mens Tag-free Cotton Briefs, 9 Pack". ***** 5* in every way and less expensive. I have placed a second order for the same item.

a proper size matters

This package of Hanes underpants for men was too small . After opening the package, I washed 3 of the underpants (as I always do with underwear) and found them to fit a 12year old boy. I gave the package to goodwill. Very disappointed.

Delivery box arrived in pristine condition. Product package had been torn open. One of the 6 briefs had a large stain on the front. The other 5 briefs were okay. Of course, I am returning the entrie package. And, will go to a brick-and-mortor store to buy the Hanes briefs.

In the Amazon photo, the briefs appear to be almost full-rise. The Haines briefs received do not match the photo. Not even close. Style, logo, and cut are not the same. However, the product ID J252W6 matches the product ID listed. Will be returning them.

Too Small and Laughably Thin. Now What?

The last time I purchased Hanes briefs in a brick-and-mortar store, they became my favorites. I bought more here and can't use them. Even though I've lost 25 pounds, the same size, (L) was too small and tight. The fabric is wafer-thin. You can see your hand through it.
I know suppliers come and go but this was a waste. Maybe they're fakes. Having tried one pair on it's not like I can return five. All is not lost, though. With some embarrassment for their quality, I will donate the rest to a shelter.

I have preferred Hanes briefs for over 30 years. I ended up buying 12 pair to get a size (36-38) that I thought fit. The binding in the leg portion has been changed to a synthetic instead of cotton thread. This binding caused serious burns in the creases in my legs resulting in jock itch . I have spent as much for a remedy as I did the product. I have left the brand for good. Advise? When some thing is not broke don't change it to save a dime. I am very disappointed Hanes brand apparently has ruined a great product in my opinion!

Manufacture change to much worse product

I've used Hanes briefs for decades. This latest package I received, there were obvious differences in the quality of the product. The lettering and font had change, for example. The material is much thinner, and fragile. I have already ripped 4 of these, and 2 were ripped so bad I tossed them. Hanes has obviously switched to a cheaper (and I mean quality, not price) manufacture, and the current version - in a word - sucks.

I’ve bought these several times in the past. This batch is made of much thinner, flimsier material that came apart after a few washes. The waistband stretched several inches, so this newer batch is huge, compared to those I bought earlier. Buyer beware.
