I keep searching for men's briefs that are not made of super thin cotton. I was disappointed that these do not seems to be any better than cheap brands. If someone knows of a better choice please share. Will not buy again. Actually, I don't even wear these.
I have since purchased Fruit of the "Loom mens Tag-free Cotton Briefs, 9 Pack". ***** 5* in every way and less expensive. I have placed a second order for the same item.

Inconsistent sizes.

I'm lowering my rating from 5 to 3 stars due to inconsistent thigh sizes. After my initial great experience (see review below), I ordered a second pack. While all of the underwear are labeled XL, I noticed the band around the thigh area is smaller on about 4 that came in the second pack. In hindsight, I think this also happened with 1 that came in the original package. The waist and height of the underwear are fine so I'm certain these aren't L mislabeled as XL.

I initially purchased the Amazon briefs. However, they have the elastic well below the belly button and were somewhat tight around the thighs. I wore them for a while to see if I'd get used to them and finally decided to try the Hanes. These briefs, on the other hand, fit more like traditional briefs. The elastic is at the right level and the thighs are just right. I'm a 40 waist and found the XL to be perfect. I washed and dried these before wearing them so this review reflects what you'll see after a washing/drying. I'm just about to order another package. I'm about to purchase another package.

This products fabric is too thin. I put my thumb throught the fabric when removing the brief. Haines has been my preferred brand of briefs for years. These are made in Vietnam, be aware.

These are thinner than the recent Fruit of the Looms I purchased. Their comfort and softness is unremarkable, about average for inexpensive undies. They have withstood numerous washes, including bleach and Fels naptha additives, so they seem to hold up reasonably well.
