I recently traveled to the Bahamas and wanted to capture the beautiful blue water both above and below. I tested the product at home before leaving and it does keep your phone clear of water. While in the case it did recognize my face, and allow me to use it. However, once I attempted to do the same underwater snorkeling it was very difficult to use my phone. The face recognition no longer worked and even though I had my camera open it didn’t always respond like I wanted. Focusing on an object in the picture was also difficult and some of my photos came out blurry because of it. Overall ok product, which pictures came out better with it. I guess I’ll just have to go back to the Bahamas.

Had this for close a year. I think one worked and other didn’t. My daughter who has iPhone 13 Pro Max, had no issues with touch screen, water getting inside, and pictures. But I have iPhone SE ( new generation ) and I experienced water getting inside, hard to touch screen, pictures was ok.

Maybe the one I had was defective. Unable to do exchange as it’s been awhile.

I have used it for showers but when actually get to use it for swimming, being in lazy River or submerged in water - my phone gotten really wet. Good amount of water was inside.

Was disappointed but my daughter didn’t have any problems.

It was a bit difficult to get my phone down into the pouch (stuck to sides) but once in, it successfully provided protection from the water. Used this while snorkeling and the phone was protected while swimming. The bad - I was unable to use the touchscreen on my phone underwater. After three snorkeling trips, I found that if I turned the cameras video on and set it to record while at the surface, I could then use it underwater. I would have to surface again to stop the video. I think it was because of air bubbles, but I was unable to use the touch screen underwater.

Fits Samsung S23 Ultra with Case On

This pouch fits my Samsung S23 Ultra (Samsung's biggest phone) with my Case Mate case still on! It was not hard to get the phone into and back out of the pouch. The pouch does not have much extra room so it is not too hard to hold and use the phone. I was able to press the power and volume buttons on the side to take a picture, so that feature should work underwater. I was able to use the touch screen like normal too. I did the paper towel test and it did not leak. The lanyard was easy to clip on and off.

Good Way to Take Underwater Photos

I bought this product for use on vacation on Bonaire, which is surrounded by a marine national park. It was very easy to fit my iPhone in — I have a 13 Pro Max, and I didn’t have to remove it from its case. I’m still going through the hundreds of videos and photos I took. I’d say the results seem to be 50% good shots and 50% blurry-because-the-focus-was-on-the-bag shots. It’s important to set your phone to camera app before going underwater; the touch screen will not recognize your finger beneath the surface. Once underwater, use the upper volume button to take photos or to stop/start recording videos. Much easier than continually surfacing to use the touch screen. You won’t get the clarity of a GoPro, but for easy underwater photos this works just fine… just make sure to properly seal the bag according to the instructions. My husband didn’t. His phone is okay, but he switched to his GoPro after that.

Ordered the 4 pack for our family cruise. We used these while swimming in the Cenotes in Mexico, even jumping in and water never seeped in. Took great photos. Pictures attached to this review were taken by phone in the case. Just had to remember to use side button to actually take photos and not the button on the screen (as instructed). My daughter ended up leaving her phone and ID in there the entire trip for the convenience.

Great for keeping your phone dry, but I was trying to use it underwater to take pictures and videos while snorkeling and it was hit or miss. I could start a video above water, but the case would stick to the screen and I couldn't control it much. The camera settings would change underwater from the case sticking. Overall worth it for the cheap price and just glad my phone didn't get ruined!

We have used these just a couple of times to date, they seem to work as expected, waterproof being the most important. However the touch sensitivity is not to good, found that we needed to remove phone from case to send texts or answer calls. We will continue to use just due to the fact that the case keeps phone safe from water, in my opinion this is the most important aspect of the case.

This waterproof case fit my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I took it on a cruise and it went up Dunns River Falls and also a swim with the stingrays without my phone getting wet. I liked the lanyard that kept my phone in easy reach for pictures but left my hands free the rest of the time. Most of the pictures I took with my phone inside the case came out fine, but some were blurry...maybe there were water drops on the outside right where the lenses were? All in all, it worked just fine. If you're looking for one that floats, I don't know if this will work because it has no air channels on it and I didn't test it.

Worked as promised. I kept a tissue inside as recommended I’m order to monitor for any leaks. I was worried about picture resolution, but it was no problem. It was a little difficult to put the phone inside the case but I managed. Also just note that I did not put it underwater. I did wear it outside in the rain quite a bit.
