Stopped working after a year and half with no discernible reason. First one ripped apart at rubber reinforcement next to the lightning plug at a year. Take impeccable care of it, not rough on these at all, my Mom and I use them on the bed every day, but they go nowhere else. Except for a once-a-month day trip to my hospital infusion center to sit on a chair while I charge my phone and get my medicine.
They *did* charge great when they charged.
And until the rubber ripped right in half (I included an attached photo of the black colored set of these I bought.) down to the wire, they were durable. I had no complaints until I could’ve been potentially electrocuted. Then I used the second one as a backup, it didn’t even get everyday use, and it stopped working about six months later. Plug it in, nothing— turn it around, plug it in, nothing. Unplug it from the base, plug it in, still nothing. Unplug it from the power strip and change plugs?!? —Ah yes!!—no, just kidding nothing.
There’s no blemishes in the cord, nothing wrong with the plug, (my dual AC plug works fine for the Apple Watch I also charge on it on a regular basis. ) nothing wrong with the USB that I can see. I’m baffled as to why it doesn’t work. It’ll occasionally decide to charge on its’ own terms for like 15 minute intervals sometimes. But not often enough to say it works.
