1.0 out of 5 starsBarns built by people who own cows with udders!

I swear it's UTTERLY rediculous that people who own cows would even think they're qualified to build horse barns.
My stallion is quite large - but I've always been able to get him in and out of the barn without trouble all of his life until I started using these barns. I've used the Fruit of the Loom Barn company for quite a long time without problem. I've even used the warehouse store brand barns with great success. And in the past I've used the Hanes Co barn builders with no complaint. But now that they're getting a lot of foreign designers and builders, it seems they don't have the exact qualifications necessary to know what to do or how to do it any longer. That results in an impropperly built barn that is difficult to use for average to large horses. Now if you have a miniature horse or a small pony, you might not have the same experience. But for those of us with man-size horses, the barn door is always in the wrong place. What's worse is it doesn't stay put. I used to have my horse trained to know where the door was and he could find his way in and out all on his own. But with these barns, he's constantly hitting his head on the wall because the door is not where it should be.
When the cow people with udders try building barns for horse people, it stands to reason that they're out of their element. They may occasionally use a horse for pleasure but that's not the same as owning your own. Even those who used to own a horse but have transitioned over seem to forget what's important about the relationship the horse has with the barn and what the horse owner needs to do to keep the horse happy and keep the barn in good condition. I'd suggest that they spend some quality time with horse owners and find out what it takes to make a horse happy before building any more horse barns.
