I like the product, I bought two. One for me and one for my wife. It’s great to hold the phone with the kick stand. The only thing I do not like is the weight. It’s heavy and tires my hands holding it.

I had accidentally broken the only iPhone charger cord on my camping trip. It was a huge pain in my butt to worry if my phone slipped off the magnet while even just walking and would therefore stop charging. I also had another similar situation at a festival where I forgot my cord and had to rely on the wireless charging. Came back an hour later to my phone dead because it was disconnecting from the magnet every time I danced (it was only in my purse). Even when holding it the battery almost swings around, not very stable. Gah. Very situational but wasn’t great for the places I was at and things I was doing. Therefore kinda let me down. But thank you

Update 3/6
Unprompted support got in tough following my issues from my earlier unit and replaced it. It’s too early to say how the device will do but I am greatly impressed with the support staff wanting to do right by buyers. I will revisit in a few months and confirm if any of the previous problems I ran into resurface but if nothing else just based on the support folks to fix issues I had to update my earlier review, 5/5!

Love it! The magnetic feature works great with my MagSafe case. It is a slow charge via MagSafe if you are using your phone. But you can always use a cable if you want it quicker. I love the little stand too, perfect for my desk. Another great Anker device!

(Updated) The Seller worked with me privately to fix the faulty/Returned Amazon unit I received initially. . I was notified the used product that was shipped was due to how Amazon’s warehousing works and was not a fault of the seller itself. I received a brand new unit to replace the used one I received and I can confirm the creaking/clicking noise does not exist on the new product I received. Simply put, I love this battery pack! It has proven to be quite useful since I have started using this product. I was hoping for a product like this to come out since the 622 model came out. The 5,000 mAh just wasn’t enough juice to make the purchase worth it. I didn’t fully get to test the product out, I just wanted to share my disappointment because I bought this as a new product and I ended up getting a used/returned product (again, not the sellers fault). The unit’s box I received was cut up where the return label was stuck to it and the top/flaps were not even closed or re-sealed (I received it exactly as shown in the video). I got the white model and it came with tiny black smudges all over it. It is hard to see from the video but it is noticeable to the naked eye. It’s a bummer I paid for a new device and received a used/returned one, but as far as the product itself goes, I can tell the magsafe magnet is strong and was able to charge my phone even through a 3rd party MagSafe case (otter box symmetry+). The weight is decent given the battery capacity size and the kickstand is also pretty convenient. When plugging the device in to charge I noticed that it makes a creaking/clicking noise (Anker confirmed this isn’t normal and I can confirm it doesn’t exist on the replacement unit I received). It was most likely damaged by the previous owner before they returned it to amazon. The USB connection also appears to be pretty solid. Once the unit is plugged in, it’s not going to get unplugged easily/on accident. Wired and wired charging works flawlessly while the devices are in your pocket or tossed in a bag.

I've always been a fan of Anker products I think their good quality products at a decent price, while this MagGo is decent, it's stuck at 7.5w charging thanks to Apple. I often found that the Magsafe connection isn't as secure (mine kind of wobbles if pushed), I believe this due to the lack of magnets at the bottom of the magsafe connection. It works perfect if there isn't a case on but with a case it wobbles.

The 7.5w charge means Apple limits how quickly the battery can charge.. only Apple's MagSafe battery back can charge at the full 15w, so it does take a bit to charge.
