Not for thick thighs

I've been told I have tree trunks for thighs, and I usually have to go a size up in briefs because of this - my waist is in the Large size range but I usually wear XLs. If you're like me, these briefs may not be the best option. There's not much stretch in the bottom of the leg so the cuff can feel tight around the thighs at times or in some positions.

There also doesn't seem to be enough material in the butt region, so some movements will result in the waist band riding down and plumbers crack showing UP! Other styles of boxer briefs are more forgiving - I also tried Gildan and Pair of Thieves and they're working better for me.

Otherwise, the designs are great and the quality is what you'd expect from an Amazon brand. If thickness isn't an issue for you, then these are a good deal.

All fit different and they shrink

These boxers are weird. Every pattern fits different. I'm a woman and wear these as pajama bottoms to bed. Some of these are a little shorter than the others and some the leg opening is smaller making it tight. It doesn't help that they shrunk a lot too. The length of the one pair shrunk probably an inch and a half or more and stops really high up on my thigh. If you buy them I suggest getting a size up and the longer ones. The waistband is comfortable and didn't shrink, just the material did. A couple of the patterns ride up on my legs too which is pretty annoying. These aren't the best but work well enough for pajamas.

Thigh hem is WAAAAAAY to tight.

While these are a great price and pretty comfy the hem for the thigh is incredibly tight. I had to rip some of the sems of my lobster pair as they were digging into my thighs. That being said they will stretch a bit after you first use and wash them, particularly in the groin and butt, BUT not as much laterally along the thigh. If you don't have larger thighs it shouldn't be a problem, but mine are 16in around where the thigh hem is, and I ordered a medium and they were too tight. Ordering a size up could be good but the amount of stretch that happens in the groin and butt with wear makes them incredibly roomy and less supportive.

I’ve tried Hanes & fruit of the loom boxer briefs, but I prefer the amazon essentials. I like the fit, length, waist band, seamless back, and comfort. I recently went from 3xl to 2xl, and I’ve purchased new boxer briefs from Hanes, fruit of the loom, & finally amazon essentials. I’ve never tried expensive boxer briefs, but I prefer the amazon essentials as a reasonably priced product and will be ordering more.

Impressed with these briefs fir the $! I wear small, but for a looser more comfortable fit I opted for a MEDIUM size in these and I’m glad I did. I’m confident that’s the way to go with these particular make. The fit is as expected, including around the legs, no trouble at all. They stretch, so no worries. At first glance they look like they won’t fit around the upper legs, but they fit as trunk briefs typically fit to me. They’re not tight at all. The fabric is not scratchy, and the elastic waistband feels comfy, as well. Very pleased with these, as I mostly wear them to sleep in, but I recommend these if you want something different for the price.
