So there's a lot about what I like about this product and just one or two things I don't like so first what I like about it is it's exactly what it advertises itself to be not just for the sake of an extremely fast charging battery Bank to and from but just for the fact that you get all the technical information on the screen which is really really nice because I use this a part of my portable solar pad which I like to read the wattage coming in and it does that perfectly and my solar pad is a 40 watt solar pad which is absolutely able to keep up with the battery bank also I usually just keep mine in my emergency supplies backpack I have kept it charged for the last 4 months and in that time it's only lost about 2% you just have to make sure you turn off the screen before you put it away or else it will drain a few percentage every few days The way you do that is you simply just hold the button down for 2 seconds until the screen turns off also make sure you have the auto sense function off unless you're going to use it pretty regularly
I like the three ports especially the regular type USB port for slow charging things there are a few annoying electronics that require that and I've actually been able to use this specifically to charge them which is kind of nice

The cons... It's a little heavier than I expected but not a problem for me necessarily just consider that

Another con is that I keep seeing from several people that sometimes the screen has gone off for them and it no longer comes back on The battery bank seems to still work and operate exactly as intended however for me that would really really frustrate me because I pretty much got this exactly for the screen itself but it has not happened yet and I've only seen a few people say that they've had that problem so maybe do the research to see if you come across the same thing....

I think the last con that I can think of which I really don't like is the trickle charger mode so here's a couple things that you're not going to be able to find pretty much anywhere when the trickle charge mode is activated if you deactivate it you have to wait 2 minutes for that little light to turn off during that time it will still continue to trickle charge and it'll show that it's losing energy even if nothing's plugged in this is just a natural function of the device so don't fret but I had to do some digging to find that out also if you decide to turn the trickle charge back on it's going to be another 2 minute timer so I would just wait it out also when the trickle charge is turned on it's going to affect the charge rate and the discharge rate of the device so consider that with trickle charge turned on I was freaking out the first time because I thought I broke it šŸ˜† All I had to do is wait 2 minutes still I've hit that stupid trickle charge a few times and it's kind of annoying because it only takes a double press it can happen pretty easily if you're trying to cycle through the menus quickly That's about it That's all I have to say I would absolutely recommend this product. I hope my review helps somebody

The good.
fits in the notch of a steamdeck case.
click the button a bunch, or hold it. There's a monster in there.
Display is nice. It's a decent size and very dense.
Seeing output lets you keep any eye on your cable quality and performance.
It didn't seem to get very hot even at high input/output.

The bad.
Seems like it loses SOC just sitting there overnight. Makes me feel like I need to test it's capacity and/or try to figure out what's going on. It was at 100%, now it's at 94%, and it has done nothing but sit for day or two. I don't want to troubleshoot a battery bank.

Takes a while to turn on when you tap the button. There isn't a physical reset button that I've seen, but it's also never locked up or anything.
I've had a UVP error a few times. I think while attempting to charge it. So it seems more picky than any usb-c bank I've used.

There is no hope in taking it apart to refresh the batteries when it gets old. So it'll be ewaste someday.

I'm returning it. Mainly because it looses charge, and because I don't think I'll ever be able to repair it once it's outside of warranty. The software seems possibly a little buggy and a little too drainy.

It's worth mentioning I have a sharegeek storm 2. I hated it at first because twice, it locked up. Also the company snail mailed me and offered money for a 5 star review..... which I reported. However on sale it was a little more than this, and after a year, I can say it's been my favorite and most used battery bank. I've had to reset it twice. And the display isn't as good (reading the tiny battery SOC is hard). But functionally it's been useful and great overall. I'm also still bitter with anker, because recently it seems they are more interested in marketing, and their offerings are just too unfocused. There are so many products..... I would prefer less products and longer life/support. I'm also still bitter for having purchased a 757 from them :) Which isn't an ups.... So take my review with a grain of salt. But these days, I don't want things, that can't live beyond their intended life span. Old battery banks I've refreshed. Though most have never needed it, it's nicer not to toss things. I for sure don't want to toss things because of software :/ I think in this case, with my limited exposure to this device, I'm not convinced. Perhaps if it wasn't snapped together and could be taken apart non destructively, I'd have given it to my mom. Buuuuut I'm going to get my money back instead. I've seen some people mention they've received poor support for this device. Only available via email. Again, I feel I should trouble shoot/validate mine, and I don't wanna.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Powerhouse of Energy in a Not-So-Portable Package

ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜†
I have been using the Anker 737 Power Bank (PowerCore 24K) for several weeks now, and there's much to appreciate about this powerhouse of a portable charger.

The Anker 737 has an incredible 24,000mAh capacity that can charge my iPhone 13 about five times, and my 2021 iPad Pro 12.9" 1.3 times. The assurance of having this level of power backup is fantastic, particularly during travel or long days out.

The two-way charging feature, boasting Power Delivery 3.1 and bi-directional technology, is a big win. This device doesn't only charge my gadgets rapidly with its impressive 140W output, but it also recharges itself in a surprisingly short span.

A feature I truly appreciated is the smart digital display. The easy-to-read screen conveniently shows the input and output power, along with an estimated time to full recharge. This has helped me manage my power needs effectively, eliminating the guesswork.

However, it's not all smooth sailing. One significant drawback I noticed is the size of the power bank. Its considerable bulk makes it less portable than I would have liked. While it’s understandable given its high capacity, it was still a bit larger than I expected (see photos, I included a quarter for scale and what it looks like in hand). This might pose a challenge for those looking to travel light.

That said, the quality of the Anker 737 is undeniably high. It has a premium feel to it that assures me of its durability and long-term performance. Also, the package includes a welcome guide, an okay USB-C to USB-C cable, and a solid 24-month warranty. Should you encounter any issues, Anker's customer service has been solid for me and usually willing to assist.

To conclude, while the Anker 737 Power Bank (PowerCore 24K) is an undeniably powerful portable charger with thoughtful features and superior performance, its bulkiness might be a turnoff for some. I would give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars, with a hope for future models to strike a better balance between power and portability. But for those who prioritize power over size, this power bank is a reliable companion that won’t let you down.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 stars, but only for the right price
Reviewed in the United States šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø on May 22, 2023

While this doesn't seem like it is the best "capcity per dollar" power bank, it makes up for that in spades with the broad range of PowerDelivery and PPS protocols and pass-through charging.
Get this if you have multiple 45-65 watt devices and/or need to provide juice to a laptop, this will save the day.

The form factor is a bit weird, compared to other Anker devices, so it doesn't exactly store in a laptop bag as well as the 747 and just about every other Anker rectangular power bank.

Seeing the charge/discharge power rate may seem like extra nerd stuff, but it is helpful to ensure that your device is charging at the rate you expect (and remember that not all USB-C cables are the same).

This will work with Steam Deck and Aya Neo (and Rog Ally presumably). Spending 120+ USD on a power bank for to only use with Seam Deck is over kill, however, and you'll be better off with a 65 watt single port power bank for half the price.

However, if you need to fast charge your PPS phone or tablet at the same time (Samsung 25/45 watt for example) or if you need to give your Macbook Pro another hour or so to finish up some work, this battery will be very useful.

It does *not* come with a charger, and for the full 160 USD price, that is disappointing. If you can get this on sale for 100 to 120 USD (which it often does), for the versatility this offers, I'd say it is worth it.

Just be sure to get a charger that can output 100watts on a USB-C port to fill this thing back up quickly. This thing can drain itself in a little less than an hour depending on what you have plugged in to it. You don't want to have to wait 4 or more hours to charge it back up with a 45 watt or less charger. Even 65 watts can take nearly 2 hours.

4.0 out of 5 stars Specialized Device Aimed At High-End Users
Reviewed in the United States šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø on February 6, 2023
Style: Power BankVerified Purchase
This thing is pretty cool, but it is also really not the power bank for everyone. It is more of a specialized device designed for people with just about the most demanding, cutting edge, portable power requirements around. People who need a lot of total battery capacity AND potentially very high current draws, but still want something relatively portable that can drop into a backpack. If that is your use case, this thing is very nice. For everyone else, it is probably a bit of overkill.

Understand that both high battery capacity AND the high output power are each going to meaningfully increase the device's size and weight, which matters a lot when thinking about portability.

Both of these features also add additional cost, and that is before you add the cool little OLED status screen. So unsurprisingly, given everything it is capable of, this premium device is not exactly cheap.

As for the size and weight commitment, in person this thing is a bit of a beast. It contains a total of six 18650 cells and a 140 watt charger, after all. In practice, it is big enough and heavy enough that you will be leaving it home unless you know that you really need it.

I am in the target market for this thing - my primary use case is for a MacBook Pro 16", where I am going to be without access to any power outlet for an extended period of time. If that sounds like you, needing extended runtime of a single, quite powerful computer off-grid, great. But if your power bank needs are more modest, I would definitely consider other, cheaper alternatives. Anker makes good stuff and they have power banks in all sorts of sizes and capacities. So don't buy more than you really need here.

For example, this unit probably isn't the best pick for charging up a bunch of your phones, flashlights and such in an extended power outage. Yes, it could be used in this way in a pinch, but charging a phone or even a tablet with a device that can output as much as 140 watts at once is a bit of overkill. I have also found that very low wattage devices are often not even detected by the USB-C ports, even in trickle charge mode. Those things need to be charged through the USB-A port, and there is only one of those on this device. That is not really a flaw in this product, Anker could certainly have enabled low wattage charging through the USB-C ports. Instead, it is more a reflection of what this device is really designed for.

The build quality seems good, and the little screen showing input and output wattage is definitely not a gimmick, it turns out to be so useful, because it also gives instant estimates of how long the device can power whatever loads are plugged into it, time until the battery is full, and even the number of charging cycles the battery has gone through. The interface is dead simple, with about the only things you have to control are whether the screen shuts itself off or stays on, and whether to enable "trickle charge" mode so that very low power demand devices can still draw power.

The manual notes that to get the full 140v out of it, you should use the mag-safe connector with the Macbook Pro 16". This is because the USB-C ports on the Mac Book Pro max out at 100 watts. In practice, this limitation won't matter much, unless you want to quick charge the Mac for some reason. 100 watts is normally plenty to just keep the machine running, even under very heavy load, and pulling the power out more slowly should help the unit last longer anyway.

What don't I like? Not much. About the only thing that could be improved is the relatively small number of ports. I'd like to see another USB-A port on this at minimum, and at least one or two more USB-C ports. This is a relatively high capacity device, and more ports would give greater flexibility to this device. Right now it is more of a one-trick pony focused a little too aggressively on high-end, power users. I am glad they released this thing, but I suspect a slightly de-rated version of this that outputs maybe 60 or 80 watts maximum with more ports would be more useful to a much larger set of people.

5.0 out of 5 stars Replacing dead 27k mah Anker
Reviewed in the United States šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø on May 25, 2023
Style: Power BankVerified Purchase
I had their 27k mah 87w battery bank die on me recently after swapping from charging my Steam Deck to my phone. Sadly that bank was only maybe 2 years old I think, and at the very least when I checked it wasn't far out of warranty.

I bought that one and this one because of friends who have more experience with Anker, and specifically with their battery banks. Hopefully this one lasts longer.

About the only negative I know about this bank might be that it's actually less efficient at lower charging rates(~15w or lower) vs higher, which isn't great for cell phones, even the likes of my Pixel 6(~21w maximum, less when nearing full). So this is obviously made for charging larger devices like laptops.

As with my old one, I'll mainly be using this to charge my phone and Steam Deck when on the go, or the power goes out. The old one saved me a few times on that latter one, including during a bad 12hr outage where I was thankful to have just charged it the night before, and kept my devices alive to entertain me through it. The only thing this doesn't have for that scenario is a flashlight, but I have plenty of those with modes that will last hours on end. I also figured this may be nice to have if traveling, I could throw it in a backpack or day sling and not have to worry about my phone's battery when out and about. However it's certainly a chonker, quite heavy and not something you'd consider throwing in your pocket.

I couldn't test the full extent of it's charging, however the display says it pulls on average 57w from my Anker 65w GaN charger, so it certainly has my devices covered as is.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks like I got a dud - Thankfully resolved after seeing this

Well to update the story, i was shortly contacted by Anker and was sent a replacement unit.

Very quick and luckily the replacement works as it should. Left them feedback about their customer support emails not working, but otherwise will be buying more anker items in the future

Unfortunately folks, im one of the ones that got a bad unit.

Cant get max charging out of my USB devices that are 100 w (get around 60w on multiple products with it being the only thing plugged in)

VERY low capacity.

Latest example, powerbank was at 44 percent, pixel 7 pro was at 30 percent. By the time the Pixel 7 Pro was 97 percent charged, the powerbank was at 4 percent.

Other times I have from a full charge, tried to charge my pixel 7 pro and my pixel watch, but it would not charge the phone smoothly, it would keep disconnecting and connecting. I am using anker usb cords for this device as well.

I also have an ASUS Zephyrus 14, charging speed on this is 100w max, the powerbank will only get to 60w and would also do the same issue of disconnect and reconnecting.

overall im very unsatisfied with the performance, i was hoping with more power cycles the issues would go away but they have not. I am hoping I just received a defective unit. My previous anker powerbanks worked much better hence i splurged on this model.

I have tried to email their customer service warranty, which makes you fill out many fields and description TWICE, once on mobile and once at desktop, both times it would just get to the last send screen and not do anything.

Hoping ill get in touch with Anker somehow otherwise this 110 powerbank will be my last purchase from them.

5.0 out of 5 stars PERFECT FESTIVAL POWER BANK
Reviewed in the United States šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø on May 5, 2023
Style: Power BankVerified Purchase
I attended Coachella 2023 & was in need of a reliable power bank that would keep my phone alive the entire weekend. For starters, I don't know much about portable power banks or the comparison between the different options on the market so I went off of recommendations. I was encouraged to buy this Anker 737 Power Bank so I gave it a go. When I tell you this thing is sent from GOD himself, I may just be right.

Upon opening, the bank had a 65% charge. Naturally, I made sure to have it fully charged at 100% starting Friday. I used it all 3 days, including charging some of my friend's phones along the way. By the end of Coachella weekend, Monday morning the power bank was at 48% charge left. THATS AMAZING! The few power banks I've had in the past tend to get extremely hot in use, this one did not. It does feel slightly warm when charging my phone but nothing crazy that seeps through my skin like others. I wouldn't be able to tell you the temperature of it when all 3 ports are being used since I only used 2 ports max over the weekend to charge iPhone's. But even then, the temperature of the power bank in use, never became an issue. That was a BIG steal for me! Another great thing about this massive block is that it CAN serve as a heavy weapon for any woman. Of course with the heavy $160 price tag, no one would think to damage this bad boy by using it as a weapon. But I'm a woman, a short one to be exact. So if my life depended on it, I know this thing could come in handy as one (I am not encouraging violence just making a personal observation).

Overall, I love the Anker 737 Power Bank. It's battery life is like no other, the temperature when in use is never an issue, and it's completely reliable for any festival or 3 day bender! KEEP AN EYE OUT ON THAT $40 discount coupon! I only ended up paying $120, beats that $160 price tag!

I recently purchased the Anker 24000mAh battery pack and I have to say, I'm really impressed with this product. One of my favorite features of this battery pack is the small display on the device. This display provides useful information such as the remaining battery time and the time until full charge. Additionally, it shows the temperature of the device which is helpful in ensuring it's not overheating.

The small display is a game-changer for me because it provides me with important information that I need to manage my device's battery life. I love knowing how much battery time I have left and when the device will be fully charged. It's incredibly helpful, and I wish every battery pack had a similar display.

Another great feature of this battery pack is the number of ports it has. With several ports to charge devices, I can easily charge multiple devices at once. This is incredibly convenient, especially when I'm on the go and need to charge my phone, tablet, and other devices at the same time.

However, it's worth noting that this battery pack is quite heavy. It's not the most portable option out there, but it does provide a lot of battery life, which is important to me. I'm willing to deal with the extra weight in exchange for the convenience of having a powerful and long-lasting battery pack.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Anker 24000mAh battery pack to anyone who is looking for a reliable and powerful battery pack. The small display is incredibly useful, and the multiple ports make it easy to charge multiple devices at once. While it's a bit heavy, it's still a great option for anyone who needs a lot of battery life on the go.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not only is it a great charger, it’s also an awesome power supply for a 16ā€ M1Max MacBook Pro.

Instead of charging a Macbook’s drained battery everyday with the Anker 737 Power Core 24k, I’ll leave to school on a full charge on both & I use the 737 power bank to
ā€œpower sourceā€ my 16ā€ M1 Max MacBook Pro for roughly about 6-7 hours without using the MacBook’s internal battery at all since it’s already fully charged…
Using the MagSafe3 power cable connected to the 100w port (or the 140w one), it keeps the Macbook battery at full charge for a 1/4 of a day.
9am to 3pm.
I’ll leave from school with my MacBook still fully charged.
I don’t like using or draining my MacBook’s battery. &
I don’t like fast charging it if I can just use it as a desktop or plugged in at all times when in use & I’m near a A/C power supply.
My 16ā€ M1 Max MacBook Pro’s battery health is still at a 100% owning both for over a year now because of this Anker 737 power bank (Power Core 24k)
I bought it on sale.
I plan on buying another one, 737 PB 24k, the next time it’s on sale again.
I looked at other bigger power banks that are 3X to 4X more expensive than this 737.
But they were way to big so I decided to try this one first since it’s also smaller & PD 3.1 like my MacBook. I am totally impressed with its power & performance.
I have an Electjet & a Samsung type phone power bank but they can’t keep up with my MacBook like this ā€œ737 Power bankā€ can.
It is totally awesome for a laptop.
I highly recommend it.
For charging, it does what its supposed to do just like Anker says it will.
But as an A/C power supply using with my MagSafe3 cable, it is a total plus.

It takes less than 2 hours to fully recharge the 737 back to 100% using a 65w or 45w power brick.
Decent for travel. Mine fits in my laptop bag fine.

I highly recommend this.
Expensive, but it does go on sale from time to time. Grab it then if your interested in this.
It won’t disappoint.
I’m not. 10/10 stars.
If mine stopped working today I’d buy another one at full price if I had to.
But prefer when it’s on sale for up to $50 off.
