4.0 out of 5 starsIt's huge, heavy and gets pretty warm.
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 16, 2023
Seems like a pretty good charger. I have charged 2 s23 ultras with it and they both get super fast 2.0. It feels like very good quality. It's a little heavy but I would rather have heavy and a premium feel than cheap and light. It can droop in outlets because of size and weight and I don't feel like the provided suction cup attachment really sticks very well. I think for the price it should come with at least one good cable. I bought a pack of 2 also anker which you have to for super fast 2.0. The cable that comes with s23 ultra will not support 45 watt charging, which is ridiculous samsung should put all of this in the box for how expensive these phones are. Overall good charger though and should be a little future proof even if samsung steps up their fast charging. Again I love the quality it's definitely a premium feeling device. It does get a little warm but that is only when I charge multiple devices which is understandable. Anker makes good stuff. Come on samsung and apple though not putting this stuff in the box is pretty ridiculous. Should at least be an option if you want a charger or not. I will be looking into different companies for my next smartphone. These anti consumer tactics are getting pretty old. There are other companies that still have great unboxing experiences. S23 ultra is a excellent device but overpriced for what you get. Samsungs and iphones used to come with everything you needed now they come in a little cheap box with nothing.

3.0 out of 5 starsIt's powerful, but awkward
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 25, 2023
It's a good piece of tech and charges fast, but like others have said, it's long and comparatively heavy and won't stay plugged in in any wall outlets I've tried so far, even with the suction cup collar. Worse is that most built-in power centers in workplace conference room tables don't point straight up without obstruction. I've not yet found a table at my very large employer where it works. If you buy it, buy a pigtail too, so you won't be hampered in using it. Anker really shouldn't persist in this design size.

5.0 out of 5 stars My go-to gift for 2022
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 8, 2023

Couldn’t believe this could replace my MacBook Pro (96W) charger. It’s so much smaller! Since I rarely need to charge all of my devices at one time, I now can travel or commute with just this one charger for the work-provided 16-inch MacBook Pro, iPhone, personal 13-inch MacBook Pro, Apple Watch and various Bluetooth audio devices. Again, I’m not using all of these things at once. So I can keep the large MacBook Pro plugged in during the day while charging the phone, then charge the small MacBook, watch, and earbuds at night. Or even unplug the large MacBook for a short time to charge up the small MacBook, while keeping a smaller device charging too. I’ve just never lacked for charging power just taking the 737 with me and nothing else.

There are two downsides to this charger. The first is remembering the configuration and combination of port usage and max output per port. It is very confusing. If you just use one USB-C, the max output is 100W, but if you use both USB-C ports, the max combined output is 120W. Same if you use all three ports, including USB-A. It can get even more confusing, so I just try to think most powerful draw to least from the top port down and don’t exceed 120W total draw. That usually works out fine. But look at the Anker site or Amazon product page images carefully to understand it before you buy. Just don’t expect the full 120W out of one port.

The second drawback is that this charger is very heavy for something that plugs into the wall. Anker includes what amounts to a brace to keep it plugged in if the charger won’t support itself without coming out from the wall. But it’s not great having to travel with a detachable brace. Fortunately, I haven’t had to use it yet, and I’m tempted to leave it at home. But of course that will be the exact time I need it. (I should note this charger easily plugs into the typical power strip and the weight actually helps keep it plugged in vertically.)

As noted, this was my go-to holiday gift in 2022. The amount and overall volume of chargers the 737 displaces for the average office professional is impressive. Nearly anybody who commutes or does even minor traveling will appreciate it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome charger!

This charger is exactly what my daughter needed. She's in her second year of college and has several devices she carries pretty regularly. In an effort to cut down on the number of separate charges she was carrying, I decided to get this charger. Her Surface Book 3 has the highest charging requirements out of all the devices. This charger handles it with ease.

I do recommend that you buy one of the Anker charging cables rated for higher watt charging. There were a couple of times she thought the charger wasn't working, but it was due to faulty charging cable or cable that couldn't supply the advertised wattage. Anker cables have performed flawlessly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powers almost everything I need it to
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 17, 2023

I have a laptop with a USB C connector.
My wife has a laptop with a USB C connector.
We have phones with USB C and Micro connectors.
We have tablets with USB C and Micro connectors.
One power brick to rule them all. Love the size, and so far, this has met my expectations.
I read an article about the use of GaN circuitry in the new generation of chargers and decided to give it a try and I am glad I did. Now I carry one power charger instead of 2 or 3 when we travel.
I also bought a USB C cord that displays the power "draw". Never seen it above 45, even when charging a laptop from the top connector on the charger.
I am a fan!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Do you really need a 120W charger?
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 17, 2023
Style: ChargerVerified Purchase
I was looking for a GaN charger with multiple charging ports (USB std and USB-C) that uses power correction for highest delivery efficiency (typically available only with >100W chargers). Anker is known for their build quality, performance, and safety certifications. The 737 is no exception. This was probably overkill for my charging requirements, but it charged my M1 Macbook Air in 2.5 hrs and iPhone 14 Pro in 1hr (+80%). Folks are already talking about 240W charging protocols, but those beasts will be monsters with the accompanying weight. The 737 is relatively compact and it comes in at less than 1/2 lb. No issues with it falling out of a wall socket. For those of you with "bigger" laptops (Dell XPS15 and beyond) or you may need to look elsewhere, but the 737 should fit the bill for those of us who like to travel light. FYI, I got my 737 on a great sale and Apple chargers suck.

4.0 out of 5 stars THIS THIN IS HEAVY!

You have to be careful because this thing is HEAVY! I haven't been able to get it to stick to the metal plate we have. Not sure, what's going on there. I have to prop it up. Mostly I use in a power strip and it works great. As for what it is actually for, it is FAST! I use it to charge my drone batteries, my Surface Pro 8, my tablet, my Flip, and Arlo batteries. No issues!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sleek, small and powerful

I bought this charger so I could carry less while traveling. It can easily charge my MacBook Pro, iPhone, Apple Watch, and another USB device at the same time. Compared to Apple's OEM charger, it runs quite a bit cooler, even when it's charging my MacBook and other devices at the same time. The build quality is superb. It feels well designed and expensive in your hand, and the folding plug seems very durable. Even the packaging is elegant, as it comes in a box that's reminiscent of how Apple packages its own products.

5.0 out of 5 stars Anker-man tested and approved

I have many Anker products thus the Anker-man wisecrack. Dad joke aside, they’re always reliable and are backed by excellent support that I’ve only had to call on once for a charging cable. In regards to this charger, it packs lots of fast charging power in a dense small packages. I’m able to replace a much larger charger plus consolidate. Being able to pack a single charger when on the go is such a space and weight saving convenience. Upgrade to Anker GaN chargers and help save the planet through energy efficiency!

5.0 out of 5 stars Power in a tiny form factor
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 15, 2023

I like this charger as it’s compact and has the power to charge all of my devices quickly.

In fact, I love it so much I got multiple to place throughout the house so I’m never far from a quick charge.

The only downside I’ve noticed is in using Apple Watch chargers, where Anker cuts power to the charger as part of the energy saving feature, and it will not turn the port back on until you unplug and replug the Apple Watch charger. I’m assuming it will do a similar thing for other wireless charging devices.

For all other uses, this is fantastic.

It’s a good charger. The only issue that I see is I try to charge two devices at once. The charger becomes really hot, but it still charges two devices.
