I bought this originally because I trust(ed) the Anker brand and they’ve always pulled through on reliable products that you can actually depend on (note the euify security issues)

I thought this was going to be around the size (maybe a bit larger) than the old 5W Apple charger. I thought this was impressive given that it has 30W of charging in a small, portable charger. I travel a lot on the weekends so having a small charger that I can keep on hand is important for me.
Now, when I say this thing is SMALLER than the original 5 watt Apple charger that came with iPhones from a time ago, I mean it is smaller and looks better in EVERY dimension. You can FEEL how powerful the charger is with the new GaN charging because of how dense this little charger is. It’s so small and compact, I’m actually surprised they were able to make it feel so robust. Anker has really knocked it out of the park with this charger. I’m wholly impressed and am going to get my girlfriend one to pair with her iPhone! Thanks so much for making such a great product!

The product looks better in person than it does in the photos too. It’s really compact and the usb-c port feels very secure. Will update after some use!

Good charge but hing already broke (3 months in)

Good size. Has an amazing fast charge for various electronic devices (iPad, iPhone, Samsung Z Fold, Nintendo Switch), but definitely a strain on battery healthy of smaller devices like phones. Unfortunately the hinge already broke 3 months in.

I take good care of my products and put them up in a case when not using. I was simply taking this out of the wall, folded the hinge in, heard a louder pop (than usual), and now the hinge is loose. This makes it’s a bit odd trying to plug into the wall now, but charge still works fine. Essentially there is no fixed closed/open position. Didn’t expect this to last forever, but also didn’t expect it to break so soon.

The product is insanely fast at charging even though the charger is quite small. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and it charges fully from 10 percent in an hour. It is also insanely portable due to its small size. The only down side I would say about this product is that it is pretty expensive. Even though it saves a lot of time, I think due to the price you can find a different option that is cheaper. However, if you have the money and are willing to pay the price, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this product.

My home outlets are very stiff, idk why it’s a new-ish build I guess they’re just new?
But the problem is when I try to plug this in and the prongs meet resistance from the outlet they flip back in and I spend 5 minutes doing a 2 second task cursing my life because these charge so fast but damn!!!! I need a way to lock the prongs in the outward position so I can get them in the outlet!

I got this along with a anker brand wire and used it to charge my 13pro max and 14pro max. Both devices got really hot to the touch especially when they’re charging from 20~60%. Don’t know if that is normal but would definitely not recommend if you care about the longevity of your battery's.

Their is nothing wrong with the product, it does what it's advertised to do, it's build quality is very good and overall it feels like a solid product. After purchasing two, I can't see myself paying 23 bucks for a charger. What will this brick do that another cheap fast charger won't? Shure you have alot of color options and the brick is small and compact but is all that really worth 23 bucks? The prongs are a little short and thin, so they can be bent easily and it can come out of the wall if not careful. If you are looking for the best of the best and are willing to pay for it, this is the product for you. If you're just an average joe looking for a charger, you should probably get the more cost friendly ones.

Today I received my new charger: Anker USB C GaN Charger 30W, with many illusions, I waited for my IPhone 14 Pro Max cell phone to reach 0 battery to charge it with my new Anker USB C GaN Charger 30W, wait up to 30 minutes to see how much charge my phone had and it was 51 percent but my new charger was too hot to the touch to let it charge to 100 percent plus there was a smell of hot plastic which is why I am returning my new one charger and request a refund. It should be noted that this does not happen to me with my Apple 30W charger.
