I recently purchased the LoveLEDi Battery Bank, and overall, it has been a decent investment. Here's a brief review summarizing my experience:
The battery bank is impressively lightweight and compact, similar in size to a mid-sized smartphone. It's extremely convenient to carry around in a pocket alongside your phone.
it provides USB-C port for power input, which makes charging the battery bank itself a breeze. The convenience factor here cannot be overstated.
However, when it comes to power output, I have mixed feelings. The battery bank provides USB-A ports for power out, but unfortunately, these ports fall short in terms of charging speed. Despite the description claiming an output of 3.1 Amps, the actual charging speed is severely slow, leading me to suspect that the power out is closer to 1 Amp.
Considering the affordable price tag of $20 for a pack of two, it's understandable that there may be some compromises in performance. While the charging speed is a significant drawback, the overall value for money is still reasonable.
On a positive note, I haven't encountered any issues with overheating, neither with the battery bank nor my phone, during charging sessions. This is a crucial aspect, as safety is paramount when it comes to charging devices.
Taking the slow charging speed into account, I would deduct 1.5 stars from my rating. However, considering its lightweight design, portability, and affordability, the LoveLEDi Battery Bank still serves as a reliable backup power option.
