Battery is not lasting as long as it did after only a couple of years. My only real issue that has been constant is that my Samsung Tab S7 FE will not charge off this unless I plug a full home charger in to it.

Fan runs every few minutes

The internal fan normally used to run during 120V charging comes on every 5-7 minutes or so, just for a second. The power is off, the AC mode is disabled, the fan just kicks on for a second then off. I’ve been watching the pack over the course of a couple days and it’s depleting it’s charge in doing this. Other people in the reviews have said the same thing, I ignored this when I decided to buy but will be returning it since the whole point of a battery pack is for it to have charge when I decide I need it.

9 months review - the AC power activates very easily and the battery drains while traveling

The overall build and technical capacity was really what had me made the purchase after I had the 25600 powerbank. Though the charging was powerful, the battery doesn't nearly last as long as it should be. I'm not sure if it's the battery indicator FLAW. I usually keep the batter in my backpack and it sometimes fully deplets within 24 hours without any usage?!! I can only think is that while it's moving in my backpack the power button might have actually been pressed "ON" and did the standby drainage. Sadly I couldn't return it even I bought it on the initial sale. I'm really regretting the purchase..

9 month update - after several trips I declare this battery is no longer practical. Unless my other 25600 mAh anker battery that never had the "auto-battery-drain" problem. The AC power get activated easily while it stays in my backpack and it dries within 24 hours and it get hot when I actually found out when I was checking on it while in travel (already drained nearly 50%). I would not recommend this though I've been a long fan to Anker products and would recommend you look for other models.

I got this product 4 months before the new laptop GPD WIN 3 was coming out so i saved it in the box till my laptop was released. i finally got my laptop a couple a days ago so i thought it would be a perfect moment to test out the ac mode on the portable battery. i played some games at a friends house and plugged in my ac charger to the battery and about 30 minutes of gaming my battery was dead and the charger was FREAKING HOT and so was my battery. The charger has never acted up ever i am playing it currently connected to the wall in docked mode. This battery got so hot i thought it might of damaged its self and almost damaged my charger so i go to look the AC hole and the plug string that holds it to the unit is scorched and burned i thought i was going to try it one more time but then i seen that and was immediately frustrated and wanted a different unit. i have boughten the normal usb charger but now i need one to power a 60w laptop so i got this battery. My unit is new and has no scratches because its been no where now i want to replace it with the PowerCore+ 26800 PD 45W. i will mail this back to the seller because this is BOLOGNA!!!!! hopefully i get a replacement.

This took two days for the first charge and then discharged relatively quickly as the fan repeatedly came on in short bursts when not it use. I was anticipating using it up and giving it a second chance to charge since other users said the long charging time is common for the first charge. I used it to charge a small devices and it used more of it's capacity that I would have thought (I have a lipstick size charger pack that works better). Then it discharged slowly with the fan coming on again and again - even though it was off and not in use. It's a harbinger of things to come and I'm returning it while I still have the packaging and in the return window. Disappointing because it otherwise had everything I was looking for in a portable battery. The fan drove me crazy for half a day trying to figure out where it was coming from. It was too short to track it down.

Do not buy. I bought on recommendation from a friend. I specifically purchased because of A/C outlet. charged it fully before a trip. on the way home I went to use it to charge a cell phone (trickle charge), and out was dead. I charged it at home today, and when fully charged, I put it in my backpack. I placed it upright in the backpack. I moved backpack from one room to another, and later moved it back. It was just upright; not even traveling. I went to check its charge level; the fan on it was running, it was hot, and my backpack was hot. The power button design is terrible; ruining what otherwise is a nice unit. I am returning it. It's useless if it it gets turned on so easily and the battery drains. Other Anker products that I own are good, but not this one.

It did not last long enough to charge my laptop. By the time I used it I felt like it would have been a hassle to return, find a box or the box, look up the return rules, package it, follow the return rules and await seeing it refunded to my account so it's just an expensive addition to add to the disappointing heap of other electronics that were not as advertised. Also it takes at least 24 hours to charge it and as soon as you plug something into it one dot goes away then within 30 minutes it's hot and dead. They also say they have 100%, one hundred percent, Positive feedback in the last 12 months. No doubt there will be some semantics to qualify this misleading statement. It says it charges a laptop. it doesn't. It doesn't charge itself as quickly as advertised, not eve close. Very upset, what a hassle to even take the time to complain then I got a message to contact them. What a pain in the neck to get some things online.

I buy a lot of Anker products and have not being disappointed yet. However I haven’t used battery pack yet, charging it seem to take somewhere between 2-3 hours.

I own so many Anker products, i was hoping this would be one of them that i love, but unfortunately it has not lived up to the name.
With a complete charge this cannot even charge an iPad Pro and an iPhone 12 Pro fully before the battery pack is completely drained.

I also own an Anker PowerCore 26800. and I have fully charged my iPad Pro and iPhone 12 Pro with it and still had about 25 percent charge.
Maybe i have received a defective power bank, and i hope that's the case, if not Anker have truly failed at this one.
I did not use it immediately, so i am past the return deadline.

I bought this for camping trips and it worked awesome for a few months. I recently took it on an overseas trip and noticed that it didn’t seem to be holding a charge and running very hot. Before my flight home I noticed some discoloration on the vent that looked like heat damage. I ended up leaving it there to avoid putting a potentially flammable battery on a plane.

I own a ton of Anker products and will buy them again in the future - but this one did not work out. This is the first negative experience I’ve ever had with an Anker product.
