Below is my original review. I stand by it, but after leaving it the company did reach out to me right away to apologize and send me a complementary replacement. I wasn’t super interested in the replacement, because the original had broken so easily, but eventually I did end up giving it a try. The one they sent me was in much better condition than the original and has been on my phone now for about a month. It’s pretty good for the price I paid. I learned my lesson last time, and this time I avoided using their screen protector aligning frame. I just put the protector on with a careful hand. That worked fine. I got the clear case, which has the unfortunate effect of reflecting the flashlight around the top of the phone and back into your eyes, making it hard to use to see in the dark. But the screen protector hasn’t cracked yet, and I’ve dropped the phone a few times without the case or the lens protector cracking. Overall, I am pleased enough with it. It’s far from the best case I’ve ever had, but it seems to handle moderate drops well enough, isn’t particularly bulky, and it includes the screen protector, case, and lens protector all in one purchase, along with backups. Given that in this replacement set all of those things seem new and moderately durable, the kit may be worth getting for yourself. Mileage may vary, but the customer service is good and the product is at least economical.
Original review:
Thank god they give you two of (almost) everything. Even so, this was a complete waste of money. I never write reviews, but I will this time. Stay away.
One of the screen protectors had clearly been used and had its plastic backing put back on; it was covered in dirt and pet hair. The second protector was fine, but following the instructions in the video (QR code leads you there) and using the included “alignment frame” was clunky and awkward, and resulted it the screen protector being too high on the phone so that the edge of it extended past the phone. Removing the screen protector and putting it on without the alignment frame worked for positioning - because I’m not an idiot and have put screen protectors on before - but now I have visible air bubbles from the re-application. Then the first time I dropped my phone, from a height of about two feet onto a linoleum floor, the lens protector cracked. I’ve moved on to the second one of those.
All in all, this was worth MAYBE $5, but even then I think I’d have felt ripped off. Do. Not. Buy.
