Positive: Good protective case. Very thick. Silicone looks very tough. Confident that if I dropped it on concrete or something hard; nothing will happen. Functions and opens with out issues or not different without case. Glad it covers up the lighting port. I exclusively use wireless charging so happy with a protective cover for the port. You can still access it if u want with the case on.
Negative: Not the prettiest case out there. The include key ring and clip gets in the way more than anything. I actually preferred if it didnât come with it. Wireless charging works fine but included as a negative. Case does not with the Apple Watch charger. Silicone is too thick and the connecting loop actually lifts the AirPods up, see picture. This makes it harder for wireless charging to work. Luckily I have a wireless charging plate for another device which works 100% fine. You will likely need a wireless charger capable of 10 or more watts. 30min charged it 40%. The Apple Watch charger is only 5 watts.
Conclusion: A very protective case that does not impede any function, UNLESS you use the Apple Watch wireless charger or a charger under 5 watts. It likely wonât work with this case.
The silicone is tough. If you throw it in a bag with a bunch of stuff, abrasive or not, itâll protect your case just fine. I would be wary of using the silicone side key chain as it might not hold up.
