4.0 out of 5 starsLives up to advertised specs, Possible electrical hazard, Moderate handling of heat

I have always been a fan of the other popular brand beginning with "A" and will continue to be, however their leading charger that competes with the BASEUS 140w in terms of output and amount of ports does NOT live up to the advertised specs -- however this model, the BASEUS 140w charger DOES provide as advertised.
With the "other" brand, the issue I ran into was not receiving 100w when all conditions were met, and tried different ones through warranty... then I returned the "other" brand entirely and bought BASEUS 140w and everything SIMPLY WORKS :) full performance. Therefore I say at minimum, until another generation of chargers is released, this model is king of the market.
I have noticed an electrical hazard, however, it is MINOR and is more of a concern about the pride of an unsuspecting child, rather than a hazard to a person's health or property and ONLY APPLIES TO U.S. OUTLET models.
When you're looking at the front of the unit with view of all ports, the metal prong on the left side for the wall socket does not seem properly isolated from the frame of the charger. The charger holds in the wall firm so it is habit to try reaching behind the block to grip when pulling it out, you'll often get a nice little 110 volt tingle through your finger onto the metal frame of the block -- in other countries with different kinds of outlets this is not possible to do on accident, and with other kinds of chargers with plastic frames this is also not possible to do on accident.
This brings me to the final point, high power chargers like these need all the help they can get to stay within operable temperatures, and metal frames are important for this -- Metal frames can absorb a lot more heat and allow the charger to run full performance for a longer period of time before it needs to activate protection mode. This charger does NOT disclose the following statement to you until you open the manual and reach the last page -- 20 minute limit for maximum charge time -- and it does not specify the details of how that is defined.
I assume 140watt is what it means with that statement and I only use 100w, so perhaps 30min for me (and most likely for you) before it slows down power output due to internal heat protection mode activating.
The frame of this charger doesn't approach anywhere near the high temperatures of other brands that use metal frames, and the heat that can be felt on the frame is uneven across the frame -- you may think that is good but its BAD
This means that the internals build up the heat and hold it in, instead of getting rid of the heat to allow for longer operation, likely from minimal internal physical contact to the metal frame (causing just the few areas to warm up and rest cool to the touch)
