Gen 2 AirPod Pros need a case

After destroying my gen 1 AirPod Pros by washing them 😳 I decided to upgrade and thank goodness for making mistakes because the new AirPods are insanely good. They are better with noise cancellation. The reason why I got the case cover was that the new AirPod pros while have exceeded the last AirPods and are superior with noise, clarity and just being ever so slightly better the case on these were definitely not as durable as the original pros case. Not sure why but it just feels a bit cheaper and makes a lot more creaking noise while handling. Feels like they took away a couple layers from the case as it’s a bit creaky and feels ever so slightly lighter. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good. It just scratches and scuffs for more easier than the gen 1. The new case looks as old as my first gen case. Gen 2 looks just as used with scratches and swirls after a couple of weeks while the gen 1 looked new for quite some time in my pocket. That surprised me. I realized it needs a case for the case and this case does the job, while also allowing for wireless charging, even though the protective case is a little think, it hasn’t taken away any abilities nor messed with the easkk

The case seems fine. I just received it, so I don’t yet know about its durability.

Pros:
1) Sturdy
2) Will protect AirPod case from scratches
3) Easy access to charging port
4) I like the carabiner clip

Cons:
1) Fit is very slightly off; there is always a very tiny gap on front or back regardless of how I put it on. This will not affect the case’s functionality but does slightly affect the aesthetic.
2) Color. I ordered lavender, but it is definitely more gray than purple. Slightly off from the color shown, like it faded in the sun or something. Also, the lanyard included does not match the color of the case.
3) Attracts dust, lint, hair, etc. But, also easily washable.

None of these things affect how the case does its job though, so I will keep it.

Feels good in my hand, does works as described. I don’t understand now to use the cleaning tool yet. I made a mistake by putting rubbing alcohol on the sponge and the alcohol immediately ripped the sponge to pieces so be careful with that. Other than that everything else is good with the product.
